Before anything else, the limit that defines this page.
GACS AI does not give medical advice. It does not triage symptoms. It does not discuss a patient's condition, history, results or medication. Every clinical question goes to your staff, without exception and without configuration.
What it does is the administrative half of the front desk. Opening hours, location and parking, what to bring, how preparation works, which practitioners see which conditions, what a service costs, and how to reach a person. That half is most of the call volume and none of the clinical risk.
If you are looking for a clinical decision support tool, this is not one and will not become one. If you are looking for a virtual assistant for healthcare access and admin, read on.

The single most repeated call at any clinic, and the one that most often goes to voicemail.
Fasting instructions, documents, insurance cards, arrival times.
The highest volume question at a pharmacy counter, and an administrative one.
The agent handles this one by refusing it, every time.
There is no version of that answer where the agent offers an opinion. The refusal is the feature.
Answers come from material the practice controls. You import the practice website by URL, upload PDFs such as preparation instructions, service lists and price lists, add manual entries for the things reception knows and nobody wrote down, and connect a Google Drive folder or a Notion workspace that stays in sync as your team updates it.
It captures a patient's name, contact details and the reason they got in touch, so reception can call back with context rather than starting cold. It does not book appointments today. Calendly booking is in build, and until it ships the agent gathers details and hands over.
It answers on the website widget, over email and on the phone, so a call at 8pm gets an answer about Saturday hours instead of a recorded message. It works in 50+ languages, including Arabic and English inside the same conversation, which matters in a multilingual patient population.
Zendesk CX Trends found that 62% of CX leaders say they are behind on the instant experiences customers now expect. At a busy practice that gap is usually a phone ringing while the person who answers it is with a patient.
Everything clinical. That is the whole rule, and here is what it covers.
Handoff carries the full transcript, so the patient does not repeat themselves and your staff can see exactly what was asked. Your staff also get AI reply suggestions drawn from the same administrative knowledge base, with the person deciding what actually gets sent.
The website widget installs with one snippet. Email routing and inbound and outbound phone calls use the same knowledge base. WhatsApp runs on your own business number through Meta's Cloud API signup flow, set up from the dashboard without a developer. Staff and role management controls who sees which conversations.
HIPAA and equivalent obligations in other jurisdictions depend on how the system is deployed, what data flows through it and which channels are enabled. This has to be assessed for your practice before go live rather than assumed. If you need control over where data is stored, GACS AI can run on a private server in the country you choose, or on your own cloud account. Ask us about your compliance requirements on a demo.
GACS AI makes no compliance certification claim on this page. The conservative deployment is the agent answering published administrative information only, with no patient data in the knowledge base.
No. It does not triage. Any symptom question is passed to staff immediately, with emergency guidance shown if the topic is configured for it.
No. It has no clinical function. It answers administrative and access questions from the material your practice publishes, and refuses everything clinical.
Not today. It collects details and hands them to reception. Calendly booking is in build.
No. It has no access to clinical systems and answers only from the administrative material the practice provides.
Bring the ten questions your reception desk answers most often and we will show you how the agent handles each one, including the ones it refuses.
